How It Works

Participation in AU’s Online Book Club is completely free. Simply pick up a copy of the book at your library, local bookstore, or online. The group will read one book every two months so you will have plenty of time to read. Plus, you don’t have to commit to reading every book.

“Books may well be the only true magic.”
– Alice Hoffman

3. Reading is Good for You: Reading improves your intelligence, reasoning ability, and can “catalyze insight, innovation, empathy, and personal effectiveness.” [1] Joining our book club gives you the opportunity to read more and enjoy all the benefits that come with it.

“It is what you read when you don't have to that determines what you will be when you can't help it.”
– Oscar Wilde
